Abstract

The aim of this study is to evaluate the impact of an educational model based on the theory of embodied interaction on the development of emotional intelligence, creativity, academic independence, and attention concentration among students. The study involved 300 students from a Chinese university who were divided into experimental and control groups. In the experimental group, the Rain Classroom platform, which integrates digital technologies into the traditional educational process, was utilized, while the control group continued their studies under the standard curriculum. The results revealed that students in the experimental group exhibited significant improvements across all measured parameters—emotional intelligence, creativity, academic independence, and attention concentration—whereas no such changes were observed in the control group. The scientific novelty of the research lies in its comprehensive approach to examining the influence of the embodied approach and digital educational platforms on the development of students' cognitive and emotional competencies. The study's practical significance is reflected in the proposal of a new approach for educators and educational administrators aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of teaching through the use of digital educational platforms.

El objetivo de este estudio es evaluar el impacto de un modelo educativo basado en la teoría de la interacción encarnada en el desarrollo de la inteligencia emocional, la creatividad, la independencia académica y la concentración de la atención entre los estudiantes. El estudio ha involucrado a 300 estudiantes de una universidad china, quienes han sido divididos en grupos experimental y de control. En el grupo experimental, se ha utilizado la plataforma Rain Classroom, que integra tecnologías digitales en el proceso educativo tradicional, mientras que el grupo de control ha continuado sus estudios bajo el plan de estudios estándar. Los resultados han revelado que los estudiantes del grupo experimental han mostrado mejoras significativas en todos los parámetros medidos—inteligencia emocional, creatividad, independencia académica y concentración de la atención—, mientras que no se han observado tales cambios en el grupo de control. La novedad científica de la investigación radica en su enfoque integral para examinar la influencia del enfoque encarnado y las plataformas educativas digitales en el desarrollo de las competencias cognitivas y emocionales de los estudiantes. La relevancia práctica del estudio se ha reflejado en la propuesta de un nuevo enfoque para docentes y administradores educativos, orientado a mejorar la efectividad de la enseñanza mediante el uso de plataformas educativas digitales.
