The temporal bone develops from two separate precursors. The pars branchialis radiates from the first and second branchial arches, the first branchial groove, and the adjacent mesenchyme. The pars otica develops from the auditory vesicle and the mesenchyme. The development of the external and middle ear is closely linked and is independent of the development of the inner ear. Significant malformations of the external auditory canal are usually accompanied by middle ear deformities and vice versa. Inner ear anomalies usually occur independently. Mesenchyme is involved in the development of all portions of the ear, so there are situations in which combined malformations occur. We report a case with combined anomalies of the external, middle and inner ear and analize the radiological findings by computed tomography and the role as a operative guide.
