Resumen

La estomatitis aftosa récurrente es una patologia oral común que todavía muestra muchos aspectos controvertidos. En este trabajo revisamos los principales aspectos diagnósticos de esta enfermedad, asi como las terapéuticas que se han utilizado en los íltimos tiempos, y sus diferentes niveles de éxito. A pesar de la existencia de algunos tratamientos sintomáticos eficaces, todavía no disponemos de un terapia curativa para esta enfermedad.

Summary

Recurrent aphtous stomatitis is a common oral pathology with a great amount of features in controversy. In this paper we make a review of the principal features for the diagnosis of this disease and of the therapies used in these last years with different degree of success. Although there are some effective treatments to get an improvement of the symptoms, there is not a definitive healing therapy for this disease.

“Estomatitis aftosa recurrente” deritzon aho patologia arrunta oraindik estabaidagarri diren aspektu asko erakusten dizkigu. Lan honetan gaixotasun honen aspektu diagnostiko garraintsitsuenak, hala nola azken boladan erabili diren terapeutikoak eta beraren exito maila ezberdinak berrikusten ditugu. Nahiz eta tratamendu sintomatiko eraginkor batzuk egon, oraindik es dugu gaixotasun honentzat sendagarria den terapiarik.
