Patients usually present with multiple subcutaneous lesions on extremities and trunk without visceral disease. Systemic symptoms such as fever, fatigue and weigh loss may be presented. The diagnosis is currently based on histological findings. Compared with subcutaneous panniculitis-like T-cell lymphoma, primary subcutaneous B-cell lymphoma did not have so many reports.<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRefs" href="#bib0020"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">1–3</span></a> In this case, we present a case of subcutaneous diffuse large B-cell lymphoma that resembles subcutaneous panniculitis on <span class="elsevierStyleSup">18</span>F-FDG PET/CT. This case demonstrates that <span class="elsevierStyleSup">18</span>F-FDG PET/CT is useful for defining the distribution and extent of lymphoma.</p><p id="par0010" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">A 57-year-old man presented multiple skin redness that had been swelled for 2 months, anorexia, nausea and vomiting for 1 week. The original clinical diagnosis was likely subcutaneous panniculitis. The patient was referred for <span class="elsevierStyleSup">18</span>F-FDG PET/CT to determine the disease extension that multiple areas of increased FDG uptake were displayed in the subcutaneous tissue (<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#fig0005">Fig. 1</a>). Afterwards, the patient underwent abdominal skin biopsy.
