Call for papers

This Special Issue explores the complex and often overlapping fields of thoracic and general surgery. Co-authored by specialists from both disciplines, the selected topics include mediastinal thyroid disease, thoracoabdominal hernias, tracheoesophageal fistulas, and combined thoracic-abdominal oncologic resections. Through multidisciplinary perspectives, the issue aims to provide a unified approach to conditions that transcend traditional surgical boundaries, offering practical insights and evidence-based strategies for their management.
