La seguridad de los procedimientos cosméticos durante el embarazo no está ampliamente estudiada. Durante el embarazo ocurren ciertos cambios fisiológicos que deben tomarse en consideración para evitar riesgos tanto en la madre como en el feto. El primer trimestre es muy importante por la embriogénesis, durante el segundo y el tercer trimestre se presenta el crecimiento y maduración del feto. En esta revisión abordamos diferentes procedimientos cosméticos que son seguros durante este periodo.
The safety of cosmetic procedures during pregnancy is not widely studied. During pregnancy, certain physiological changes occur that must be taken in consideration to avoid risks to both the mother and the fetus. The first trimester is very important for embryogenesis, during the second and third trimesters the growth and maturation of the fetus occurs. In this review, we cover different cosmetic procedures that are safe during this period.
