Summary

One of the complications more feared in the Total Hip Arthroplasty is the infection of the prothesis.

Their therapeutic boarding is complex, controversial and it has a high economic cost.

The prevention is presented as fundamental and its diagnose it constitutes a challenge since for the surgeon any test has a sensibility or specificity of 100%.

The prosthetic replacement associated to antibiotics is the desirable treatment although to eradicate the infection in occasions is difficult.

The objective of this bibliographical revision is to know the current tendencies in the prevention, diagnostic and treatment of this complication.

Laburpen

Aldakako Artroplastia Osoaren konplikazio kezkagarriena protesiaren infekzioa da. Abordaje terapeutikoa korapilatsua eta eztabaldatua da, eta kostu ekonomiko handia du.

Prebentzioa funtsezkoa da eta diagnostikoa erronka handia da kirurgialariarentzat, ez baitago %100eko sentsibilitate edo espezifikotasunik duen probarik. Antibiotikoei lotuta dagoen aldaketa protesikoa da tratamendu egokiena, baina zenbaitetan, infekzioa desagerraraztea zaila izaten da.

Berrikuspen bibliografiko honen helburu nagusia gaur egun konplikazio honen prebentzioan, diagnostikoan eta tratamenduan dauden joerak ezagutzea da.
