Annals of hepatology: A new medical journal

I wish to introduce our readers to ANNALS OF HEPATOLOGY. This is a new journal, dedicated to publish excellent original manuscripts on basic and clinical research in hepatology. In particular, we expect that our titles will include clinical trials, epidemiology, and research that will encourage further production of excellent clinical studies. We believe that the journal will serve for all clinicians and researchers around the world. It will be especially important for our Mexican and Latin American colleagues. The Associate Editors and the members of the Editorial Board all are very enthusiastic people, who have accepted participation in this challenge as their contribution to medical science. We will work very hard to produce a very good journal. To speed the review process, we will use the e-mail addresses of the Editorial Board Members for submission of manuscripts. We hope that this will help stimulate an interest in publishing in Annals of Hepatology among hepatologists.
