Elsevier has established an agreement with the Medica Sur Clinical Foundation to enabling authors to publish open access in Annals of Hepatology and has developed a funding plan for open access publication fees. As a result of this agreement, authors will have to pay the following open access publication fees:
- - Original Articles, Reviews and Practice Guidelines: USD 300
- - Case Reports: USD 200
Additionally, the articles sent by corresponding authors members of the affiliated societies to the Foundation will be entitled to a discount of 50% of the open access fee.
Funding Body Agreements
Elsevier has established agreements with funding bodies, including Wellcome Trust and Research Councils UK. This ensures authors can comply with funding body open access policies and may also be reimbursed for their publication fees.
Author Rights
For open access publishing this journal uses an exclusive licensing agreement. Authors will retain copyright alongside scholarly usage rights and Elsevier will be granted publishing and distribution rights.
