A 39-year-old patient consulting with confusional symptoms. CT showed a retroperitoneal mass in the left upper quadrant of the abdomen (Fig. 1A and B). For surgical planning and to establish its relationship with adjacent structures, a three-dimensional reconstruction was performed (Fig. 1C (anteroposterior) and D (lateral) which showed the retroperitoneal mass in yellow, in relation to the pancreas and spleen in its cephalic area, anterior left colon, and psoas muscle in its posterior part, which helped to plan the surgery. Molecular diagnosis after excision confirmed the diagnosis of lipoblastoma by showing CHCHD7 gene fusion.
