We present the case of a 28-year-old man with no personal history of interest and an episode of acute right dacryocystitis despite medical treatment. He underwent dacryocystectomy, in which samples were obtained for anatomopathological and microbiological studies with results of Aspergillus niger. Acute Aspergillus dacryocystitis is very rare in immunocompetent adult. After the operation, the condition resolved without recurrence after 1 year without adjuvant treatment.
Presentar el caso de un hombre de 28 años, sin otros antecedentes personales de interés, con un episodio de dacriocistitis aguda derecha tratado con antibioterapia. Fue intervenido quirúrgicamente mediante dacriocistectomía en el que se obtuvieron muestras para estudio anatomopatológico y microbiológico con resultado de Aspergillus niger. La dacriocistitis aguda por Aspergillus es muy infrecuente sobre todo en pacientes inmunocompetentes. Tras la intervención se produjo la resolución del cuadro sin recurrencias tras 1 año de evolución sin tratamiento adyuvante.
