The Spanish Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology [ Revista Española de Cirugía Ortopédica y Traumatología (RECOT) is the official scientific publication of the Spanish Society of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology (SECOT) and the leading reference in the Spanish language within the specialty.
Its mission is to disseminate scientific and technical knowledge in Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology, covering clinical practice, basic and applied research, and the study of the musculoskeletal system in adults and children.
The journal promotes the advancement of the specialty by publishing original articles, reviews and updates prepared by experts, promoting continuing education and the exchange of experiences among professionals. It also acts as a forum for debate and innovation among orthopaedic surgeons, researchers and related specialists, with the aim of improving the quality of care and promoting research at the national and international level.
The journal accepts original works in English and Spanish related to the field of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology.
RECOT has an independent and prestigious Editorial Committee, and all works are evaluated through blind peer review.
