We would like to share ideas on “Case report: Pituitary apoplexy after COVID-19 vaccination.1” Pituitary apoplexy following COVID-19 vaccination was noted as a potential link by Piar-Gutiérrez et al. in a case report.1
Although the COVID-19 vaccination is beneficial, we are all concerned that it could also be harmful. Pituitary apoplexy, vaccination participants in the current trial could have adverse effects. However, as there is no pre-vaccination data on the health and immunological status of vaccine recipients, no inferences can be drawn. The issue could have its roots in a patient comorbidity.2 Co-infections may occur in vaccine recipients following immunization, which is mistakenly thought to be a negative outcome. Pituitary apoplexy, for instance, can develop simultaneously with dengue fever.3
