Abstract

Two cases are reported of a fatal syndrome of refractory watery diarrhea, hypokalemia, and vacuolar nephropathy in association with non-insulin-secreting islet cell adenomas of the pancreas. Seven cases of a similar nature are reviewed. The therapeutic significance of early diagnosis and treatment of this clinical syndrome is stressed.
