Summary

Gorham-Stout disease is an extremely rare bone disease characterised by loss of bone mass, and is often associated with angiomatous proliferation (an angio-ma is a tumour characterised by hyperplasia or excessive development of vascular tissue). Bone destruction may occur in only one bone, or in various adjacent bones at the same time. We describe the clinical case of a gestant with Gorham-Stout syndrome, diagnosed before pregnancy. We also make an extensive review of current literature.
