The authors describe a female patient with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and Raynaud phenomenon and a familial history of first degree SLE who presented pulmonary hypertension. Only a few reports have been documented of pulmonary hypertension in SLE. To the authors knowledge no other case has been reported in Spain in which involvement of the pulmonary artery was the principal cause for pulmonary hypertension in SLE.
