Unilateral thoracic hyperhydrosis is an uncommon feature, usually secondary to intrathoracic neoplasias. The authors report a patient with squamous carcinoma who underwent lobectomy and resection of three ribs, and subsequentlydeveloped hyperalgesia and hyperhydrosis in the metameric area corresponding to the resected ribs.
