Resumen

Se presenta un caso de un tumor costal muy poco frecuente.

La bibliografía médica señala el hemangioma como uno de los tumores más raros localizados en la pared costa.

El tratamiento de elección sigue siendo el quirúrgico y el diagnóstico es definitivo tras el estudio anatomo-patológico de la pieza resecada.

Summary

The authors present a very infrequent case of costal tumor.

Medical literature indicates the hemangioma as one of the rarest tumors located on the costal wall.

The treatment of choice continues to be surgical and the diagnosis is definitive after the anatomicopathological study of the resected matter.
