Dentro de la enfermedad aueurismática, los aneurismas arteriosclerosos de la Arteria femoral profunda representan una mínima proporción, siendo aún más raros los de sus ramas. Presentamos el caso de un varón de 90 años con enfermedad polianeurismática y clínica sugestiva de rotura contenida de Un aneurisma de Arteria femoral profunda derecha. Mediante TAC y Angiografia se identificó una rotura en el inicio de la Arteria circunfleja externa, rama de la Arteria femoral profunda. Se trató quirúrgicamente mediante resección y cierre proximal y distal de los cabos arteriales. Se hace una revisión bibliográfíca de los últimos 10 años.

Talking about aneurysmatic disease, atherosclerotic Aneurysms of the deep femoral artery represent a minimal proportion of the hole. We report on the case of a 90 year old male with polianeurysmatic disease, and a clinical picture suggestive of right deep artery aneurysm contained rupture. Rupture of the deep femoral artery at the origin of the circumflex artery was diagnosed by means of CT scan and angiography. He was treated surgically with resection and closure of the proximal and distal arterial ends. A bibliographic revision of the last 10 years is made.
