Priapism can be divided into three subtypes depending on the cause and can be induced by certain agents. We present a case report of priapism induced by tamsulosin treatment in a patient with obstructive lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) and also review the relevant literature.Priapism secondary to tamsulosin treatment is a rare event that has seldom been reported in the literature. In cases of priapism secondary to medical treatment, interruption of treatment should avoid further events. ER -
