MethodsThe study design was cross-sectional. A sample of 71 patients was determined proportionally and selected with the inclusion criteria. Data was collected using measuring tools consisting of patient-centered care questionnaires, patient satisfaction questionnaires, and patient medical records to evaluate the clinical outcomes of inpatient. Multivariate analysis was carried out to correlate the effect of the patient centered-care on patient satisfaction, and the clinical outcomes of inpatient. ResultThere was an effect of patient-centered care on patient satisfaction (p=0.000), but there was no effect shown to the clinical outcomes (p=0.440). ConclusionThe application of patient-centered care attributed to patient satisfaction, but did not affect the clinical outcomes of inpatient after emergency cesarean section surgery. ER -
