RESUMO
Apresenta-se um caso de uma criança de 6 anos de idade, do sexo masculino, saudável, que iniciou dor retro-xifoide. A radiografia torácica revelou uma imagem cística no lobo inferior esquerdo e a TAC torácica mostrou sinais tomodensitométricos compatíveis com malformação adenóide cística. Após 2 episódios de infecção pulmonar, efectuada cirurgia (lobectomia), que veio a revelar o diagnóstico definitivo de Sequestro Pulmonar (SP) intra-lobar.
Os autores fazem uma breve revisão teórica sobre malformações pulmonares congénitas e tecem algumas considerações diagnósticas e terapêuticas nestas situações.

SUMMARY
The authors present a case report of a 6 years old, healthy boy, with thoracic pain. The chest x ray showed a cystic lesion in the left lower lobe of the lung. The thoracic CT scan was consistent with congenital adenomatoid malformation. After two pulmonar infections, lobectomy was performed. The pulmonary sequestration diagnosis was then establishied.
A review of congenital bronchopulmonary malformation, diagnosis and terapeutic a re presented.
