Summary

Triploid gestations with a live foetus is extremely rare far beyond the first trimester. The early diagnosis of triploid gestation represents a real challenge for those perfoming prenatal diagnosis. In the present case we discuss the early diagnosis of a triploid gestation with a review of the different diagnostic techniques, with special emphasis on three-dimensional Ultrasound/Scan diagnosis
