Toxicity secondary to checkpoint inhibitors (ICP) can affect numerous parts of the body, with varying frequency. We present a case of bilateral optic neuritis secondary to the use of pembrolizumab (an anti-PD-1), which has been described in the literature in less than 1% of cases associated with the use of anti-PD-1/PD-L1 and anti-CTLA4 (ICP).
La toxicidad secundaria a Inhibidores del Check-Point (ICP) puede afectar a numerosas partes del organismo con una frecuencia variable. Presentamos a continuación un caso de neuritis óptica bilateral secundaria al uso de Pembrolizumab (fármaco antiPD-1), descrita en la literatura en menos del 1% de los casos en relación con el uso de fármacos antiPD-1/PD-L1 y antiCTLA4 (ICP).
