El plasmocitoma solitario es un tumor constituido por células plasmáticas cuya localización traqueal es extremadamente rara. Presentamos un caso de plasmocitoma traqueal y hacemos una revisión de la pauta a seguir ante este tipo de tumor, haciendo hincapié en la necesidad de hacer controles periódicos en estos pacientes por ser impredecible su forma de evolución.
Solitary plasmocytoma is a tumour constituted by plasma cells; tracheal localization is extremely unusual. A case of tracheal plasmocytoma is reported, with a re-view of the guidelines of management. Emphasis is made on the need of periodic control of these patients, insofar as their evolution is unpredictable.
