Se aporta un caso de tumor mesotelial benigno asociado a una hipoglucemia extrapancreática. Estos tumores son de aparición muy poco frecuente, y constituyen el síndrome de Doege-Potter. La clínica fundamental se debe a manifestaciones neurológicas durante las crisis hipoglucémicas. Sólo la ablación del tumor permite prevenir estas crisis.
A case of mesothelial benignant tumor associated to extrapancreatic hypoglycemia is reported. These tumors are very uncommon, constituting the Doege-Potter syndrome. Their main clinical features are caused by neurological symptoms during hypoglycemic crises. These can only be prevented by tumor resection.
