We report a male patient with an endobronchial chondroid hamartoma which presented as hemoptysis. A ba-sal right lung alveolar condensation was observed. The diagnosis was ultimately established by bronchoscopy and biopsy. A tumoral resection was attempted using that approach. The relative rarity of this tumor, particularly in its central or endobronchial form, justifies the report of this case, as well as the review of the clinical features, diagnostic methodology and therapeutic approach of this type of tumor.
