Se presenta un caso de edema pulmonar agudo unilateral en un paciente con insuficiencia renal crónica. El diagnóstico clínico y radiológico fue muy característico, desapareciendo los signos clínicos y radiológicos después de una diálisis peritoneal con gran deplección acuosa.
Se comenta la escasa frecuencia de este tipo de presentación y se insiste en la consideración de los mecanismos patogénicos que determinan la aparición unilateral. Considerando en nuestro caso los factores de insuficiencia ventricular izquierda y el mecanismo posicional del paciente.
The authors present a case of unilateral acute pulmonary edema in a patient with chronic renal insufficiency. The clinical and radiological diagnosis was very characteristic. The clinical and radiological signs disappeared after a peritoneal dialysis with great aqueous depletion.
The authors comment on the scarce frequency of this type of presentation and insist on the consideration of pathogenic mechanisms that determine the unilateral appearance, considering in this case the factors of left ventricular insufficiency and the positional mechanism of the patient
