Resumen

Se presenta un caso de derrame pleural eosinofílico, con antecedentes de un traumatismo torácico, considerando las diferentes circunstancias de presentación de este tipo de derrames pleurales. Se completa el estudio de la observación clínica, con los hallazgos anatomopatológicos de la punción biopsia pleural, haciendo una revisión de las eosinofilias y derrames pleurales eosinofílicos primarios y secundarios.

Summary

A case of eosinophylic pleural effusion in a patient with chest injury antecedents is presented. The different type of presentation of this type of pleural effusion are considered and the anatomopathological findings of aspiration biopsy are discurred. A review of the eosinophylia and primary and secondary eosinophylic pleural effusions is included.
