La Urodinámica estudia la actividad del tramourinario inferior (vejiga y uretra) en sus 2fases: de llenado y de vaciado vesical, asimismopuede ser realizada de 2 formas: convencional ocon monitor externo. En la práctica diaria esuna herramienta de trabajo de indudable valor,para alcanzar un conocimiento más amplio de lafisiología miccional y de esta manera contribuiral diagnóstico y seguimiento de múltiples patologíasde localización en órganos genitourinarios.
The urodynamic investigation conducted with criteria of translational investigation can be carried out with developed ¿in vitro¿ urodynamic models in the laboratory. The methodology and results of these studies offer an extraordinary parallelism with the conventional urodynamic studies conducted ¿in vivo¿. For this reason we have termed ¿in vitro Urodynamics¿ the activity of this line of investigation, the aim of which is to reproduce with the greater possible reliability the behaviour of tissue preparations in their natural environment and under different stimulus.
