¿Fungus ball¿ obstructivos en trasplantados renales

Se presentan dos casos de trasplantados renalesque presentaron clínica obstructiva (oligoanuria,dolor en la zona del injerto e insuficienciarenal). Aunque la candidiasis no es rara enpacintes inmunodeprimidos, la obstrucción de lavía urinaria por acúmulos de ¿hifas¿ ha constituidoel 9,5% de tales casos (sobre 466 T.R.) y, a suvez, el 0,4% de las complicaciones de los trasplantadosque han requerido manipulación instrumentalo quirúrgica para su solución.
The cases of two kidney recipients presenting with clinical signs of obstruction (oligo-anuria, pain in graft zone and kidney failure) are hereby presented. Although candidiasis is not rare in immunodepressed patients, urinary tract obstruction due to ¿hyphae¿ accumulation accounts for 9.5% of obstruction cases (out of 466 kidney transplants).It also accounts for 0.4% of complications in kidney recipients requiring instrumental manipulation or surgery.
