En 2016, los usuarios de la Central de Resultados fueron preguntados directamente por sus necesidades de información de salud. Se fijaron 3 objetivos: definir los grupos interesados en recibir la información generada, determinar los contenidos de la información que incluir en los diferentes productos e identificar los formatos y canales más adecuados para cada uno de los grupos de interès.
Material y métodosSe realizaron entrevistas personales semiestructuradas y grupos focales para conocer los intereses de la ciudadanía, y entrevistas personales y dinámicas de consenso online para conocer los intereses de profesionales sanitarios de diferentes perfiles y de profesionales de la comunicación. Se hizo un análisis de contenido y del discurso, mediante transcripción literal de los grupos y entrevistas, así como el vaciado de las respuestas abiertas de las dinámicas de consenso.
ResultadosSe definieron 2grandes grupos de interés, el de los profesionales y el de la ciudadanía, subdividido este en diferentes grupos según el perfil profesional. Los principales contenidos de información sanitaria que incluir en los productos generados difirieron para cada grupo de interés, así como los formatos y canales más adecuados en cada caso.
DiscusiónLas necesidades de información de los profesionales estuvieron orientadas a la mejora de su praxis profesional. Se evidenció la importancia de trabajar en la comunicación de la información que ya se genera. La ciudadanía manifestó que solo necesita información relacionada directamente con su estado de salud, e identificó a su médico de referencia como el encargado de poseer esta información y de transmitirla.
In 2016, the users of a Results Centre were asked directly about their health information needs. Three objectives were set: to define the groups interested in receiving the information generated, to determine the contents of the information to be included in the different products, and to identify the formats and channels most suitable for each of the stakeholders.
Material and methodsSemi-structured personal interviews and focus groups were organised to find out the interests of the users. Personal interviews and on-line consensus dynamics were also performed to determine the interests of the different health professionals, and those of professionals in communication. An analysis of content and discourse was done through the literal transcription of the focus groups and interviews held, as well as the open responses of the consensus dynamics.
ResultsTwo major interest groups were defined: that of professionals and of the users, with the former sub-divided into different groups according to their professional profile. The main contents of health information to include in the products generated differed for each interest group, as well as the most suitable formats and channels in each case.
DiscussionThe information needs of professionals were oriented to the improvement of their professional practice. The importance of working on the dissemination of the information already generated, was also shown. The users stated that they only need information directly related to their health status, and identified their referring doctor as the person in charge of having this information and transmitting it.
