Bioethics UPdate, founded in 2015 by the Panamerican University, México, is an international Bioethics journal devoted to promoting in a scientific and argued way this discipline. The scope of Bioethics UPdate will correspond to the wide horizon of themes and problems that are now included in the domain of Bioethics, and special stress will be laid on the interdisciplinary methodology required for a profitable work in this field. Bioethics has also shown a considerable variety of ethical doctrines, schools, inspirations that has often led to irreconcilable proposals for the solution of concrete problems, and has introduced a polemical vein in the debates. The aim of this journal is that of adopting not only an interdisciplinary but also an interdoctrinary methodology, offering a space for a rigorous critical analysis of controversial issues, in which the confrontation of rational arguments could lead to recognizing the differences but also to finding out certain points of convergence.
We invite you to become an active collaborator of Bioethics UPdate and encourage you to submit your articles online through the Elsevier Editorial System Web site. Original research in every field of Bioethics will be considered for publication.

Bioethics UPdate, fundada en 2015 por la Universidad Panamericana, México, es una revista internacional de bioética, cuyo objetivo es difundir científica y argumentadamente esta disciplina. Bioethics UPdate abarca el amplio horizonte de temas y problemas que pertenecen hoy al campo de la bioética, con especial atención a la metodología interdisciplinaria que se necesita para trabajar con éxito en este campo. La bioética ha mostrado una notable variedad de doctrinas, escuelas e inspiraciones éticas que ha llevado a menudo a propuestas irreconciliables para la solución de problemas concretos y ha introducido un estilo polémico en los debates. El fin de esta revista es el de adoptar no solo una metodología interdisciplinaria, sino también interdoctrinaria, ofreciendo un espacio para un análisis crítico riguroso de cuestiones controvertidas, en el cual la confrontación entre argumentos racionales pueda llevar a reconocer las diferencias, pero también a encontrar puntos de convergencia.
Queremos invitarle, como autor reconocido en la materia, a colaborar activamente en la revista y le animamos a enviar sus manuscritos a través del sistema de envío online de Elsevier. Se considerarán para su publicación artículos originales de cualquier campo de la bioética.
